Col Arun Dhongde has served with the Indian Army in the Regiment of Artillery in various staff and Command appointments for 28 years with long and outstanding tenures in the Counter Insurgency environment in the toughest time and terrain of J&K.
He has attended a Senior Staff Course at College of Combat Mhow and Senior Command Course at School of Artillery Devlali. A keen mountaineer, he has also served as instructor on attachment to High Altitude Warfare School, Gulmarg.
Apart from the tenure with the regular Army, he has also commanded an NCC battalion in Etawah (UP) for three years. During this tenure, over and above the duties of a Commanding Officer, he has conducted several personality development and English Communication classes with specific reference to selection processes in the Defence and other areas. He was responsible for shaping of career of several students in the area and trained them in joining Army, Police, Civil Services and Industry.

Academic Experience
Col. Arun J. Dhongde
He joined EMPI business school, New Delhi in March 2002 as a faculty and mentor and made significant contributions in developing the residential environment. He taught Financial Management, Business Communication, Principles and Practices of Management, and Soft skills.
As a Dean & Mentor, he was responsible for constantly developing the curriculum and adding new subjects. He also developed student driven activities in the areas of Event Management, Physical Fitness, Adventure activities, Connecting with the Corporate world and Placements. Ability to connect with the younger generation is his prime asset.
After moving to Pune in 2015 he has been a visiting faculty of Business Communications at SCMHRD Hinjewadi (Symbiosis Centre For Management and HR) for last five years and has taught for many courses.
Coaching for SSB has always been his hobby and has helped eleven students so far in getting selected for the Army, Navy and the AF.

Colonel R.G. Kadam
An Indian Army veteran, Col R G Kadam is a man of few words and is a motivator for many. we are proud to have him not just as an Advisory but also part of the Training team as an Interviewing Officer, something that students can look forward to because he firmly believes in harnessing the power of youth to shape the future.. In his 37 years of service, he played a key role in furthering the cause of the Army and honing his acumen to become a successful trainer and a guide to those aspiring to become not just Armymen but also responsible human beings. An avid sportsman, his hobbies include, out of the several ones, Adventure Sports and Flying. As an able Man Manager, throughout his career, Col R G Kadam has motivated, selected and recruited scores of Armymen, Officers as well as Jawans. Many of those still in service, revere him as a great motivator, teacher, counsellor and someone who is all ears to their areas of concern even as getting them successfully addressed. Even today, students aspiring to join the Indian Army look forward to seek his advice and guidance. Not surprising that he is invited to be a speaker and motivator by numerous educational institutions in India who have, in their practices, applied his knowledge on global standards of training specially those eager to join the Defence Forces. His coaching have proved to be of immense value to the candidates. Col R G Kadam also is a specialist in Logistics Planning and Execution, which again is a key area in our Indian Army service.
Brigadier Deepak Bhat
Brigadier Deepak Bhat, VSM, (Retired) , is an alumni of National Defence Academy. He has had a chequered career in the Regiment of Artillery. He has vast experience of Human Resource handling. He has been a Group Testing Officer (GTO) at the selection centre where he has assessed more than 2000 candidates for their suitability to become an officer in the defence forces. He has also been an instructor at the Defence Institute of Psychological Research where he has trained officers to become assessors at the SSB. He has been awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal by the Honourable President of India for his exceptional services in automation and transformation of the Army. He guides in personality development and facing the SSB or other interviews.”
Lieutenant Colonel Ashish Chauhan
I belong to a small town, Etawah of UP. I did my basic schooling from St Mary's Inter College. I joined graduation from KKDC and took up NCC despite being a science student. I joined NCC with a dream to join Armed Forces. In 1998 Col Arun Dhongde took over the command of 4 U.P. NCC Bn. He saw me as a potential candidate for NCC entry scheme started by the Army. He started coaching me for the same. It was in Dec 1998 that I got the first call for direct SSB at 34 SSB Centre Allahabad( now Prayagraj). Col Dhongde now finally focused training me for the SSB. I cleared the first hurdle by clearing the screening test on the first day.
My dad, Mr. SPS Chauhan waited for the phone to ring to hear the news.Finally there it was, the phone rang and I broke the news to the family that I had created history for not only 4 UP BnNCC Etawah but also the district to become the first cadet to join OTA,CHENNAI. I joined the SS-70 course and was commisined in Sep 2000 into the Corp of Engineers. Today I have completed more than two decades of service in the Army and am presently commanding a CMP unit at Agra.
I am happy to see that now also, Col Arun sir, is helping so many youngsters to join the Armed Forces. Best wishes to Success Academy and its students.
